Homelink with rolling code garage opener

This is my first time programming homelink. I have two garage doors, one with fixed code and the other with rolling code. Following the instructions in the manual I got both of them working, but I am not sure if I have done it right. Now when I press the button programmed with the fixed code opener the light glows steadily for a second before it turns off, and pressing the rolling code one will cause the light to blink rapidly for a second or two. I am wondering if the buttons and lights are working properly because I was expecting them to behave the same way after being successfully programmed. I watched a dozen youtube videos about programming rolling codes and none of them show how the lights blink after being able to open the doors, and no manuals mention that either.

I assume that you are asking about the green LED indicator light on the Homelink buttons. I’ve never paid any attention to them when operating the garage doors. If the garage doors respond correctly when you press the appropriate button, then you’ve set them up correctly. There’s nothing special about them that I’m aware of.
