I am also frustrated that the My View setting in the instrument cluster is reset every time I start the engine. I don't see this on the list of recalls for my truck. Can you provide a reference or code from your service record so I can have the dealer check this for me, please?
It's under Customer Satisfaction Program 21B06. The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) module. It says the dealer will have to reprogram the IPC module. I hope this helps. I can email a copy of my notice to anyone who wants a copy of it. Send me a message and I'll be happy to do that.

Anyone know what the "auto" option on breadcrumbs in the nav system does? I've had it on for a month and it hasn't dropped a single crumb.
It's the same as dropping way points on a GPS so you can follow them back to your starting point.

Took this from Google:
When enabled in the SYNC® 3 navigation settings, the Breadcrumbs feature works in the background to drop a virtual pin every second while out on the trail. When drivers need to return to the road, the feature provides them with a guide to get back to their starting point – without the stress of relocating landmarks.Dec 23, 2019

Thanks for the quick reply Sonny. The breadcrumbs on/off function I've been using for years in my previous trucks, its this new "auto" option that I'm unsure of...so there is now 3 choices in Sync 4 on/off and auto.

I hit an elk near Marathon Texas, 4 standing in the road at night when I topped a hill.
I missed 3 and hit a female.
Killed it did $7000 damage on my other truck.
That was with a heavy duty grille guard on the front.

If you need to cover a larger or different area, do a search for "loop side only velcro". I use it on seat belt buckle sides to protect my center console.
Good idea too, you have a photo of how it looks?

Sorry, I don't. I did it on my 16 XLT but that has been gone for about a year now. Got the idea from my Edge, it had something that looked similar in the same area. I does work well though.

Phew!! You had me scared there.
Thanks my friend..

It did crack my sternum bone in the chest.
I had an amulet neclace between me and the seat belt.
Nearly flipped the truck, came up on 2 wheels but luckily it set back down.

It was very painful, it was caused
by a small 600 year old Buddha in a silver case that I picked up in Thailand. Supposed to protect you, I put it on when I bought it and canceled a trip to Phuket the day before the Tsunami hit in 2004.
Probably 3/4" in diameter.
I always check now that it's not behind my seat belt..

Side note, I had email addresses of 5 people I had met at my hotel in Bangkok that all went.. They tried to get me to change my mind , but I didn’t. I never received an email from any of them,, they were in bungalows on the beach..
So maybe the Buddha works, lol.

My family here all thought I was dead for a few hours till one of my Thai friends contacted me to tell me.
I had sent an email saying I had changed my plans but they hadn't seen the email..
If you've seen the videos of it hitting the beach and wiping out the bungalows, that's where I was supposed to be.
Ok, that's my story..
I lived to tell the story.

Glad you did, funny how life is sometimes.
I've been really lucky twice..
Both times I should have died.
I should have died on the
US CG Cutter White Alder,
Google it, I was nearly stationed on it out of boot camp.
Sank 6 months later.
A boot camp friend got stationed on it I got the base.. It was He and I got sent to NO, LA
Was going to be one of us ,
Unfortunately for him. He was stationed on it.
He was single, I wasn't so I got the Base.
He died on it.
Thanks Bob.
