I tried setting mine to just 4, and it has persisted through several start ups now. I also have a blend of XM and FM among those 4 presets too.
And you still get 4 when you turn the truck off.. then back on later? I will have to try 4 then.

Yep! I tried it based on someone else's suggestion, and it's stayed that way since!

Have anyone try to take of seatbelt and open the drivers door while in drive? It automatically goes in park. Though that was nice safety feature.
Yes, and the same will happen if you shut it off while in drive.

Why does the Instrument display always default back to a list with My View and other options? Is there a way to make it stay on the last selection I was using after restarts? I like keeping it on the Lane Centering view.
THIS! It drives me nuts. The problem here is not the same as others have described as being "My-View and gauges reset themselves to factory settings". It's a different problem, being that the options dont't reset, but the My View menu/list comes back and waits for a driver choice every time I start the truck, instead of reverting back to the last used view. Very annoying.

Thought this might help to have a single place to put hints-tips-tricks for these trucks as folks figure things out. The smarter ones will find solutions and can let everyone know how to achieve whatever it is.(y)

An example of something that was discussed in another location. The double honk when you get out of a parked truck that is still running and have the key fob on you. A safety feature, yes, aggravating sometimes, yes.

The only thing I have found that works is to not close your door all the way. Short of voiding your warranty that is the only way I have found.

There are some brilliant people here and these are very complex capable trucks, hope to see some great things.
My wife refers to this as the "hey stupid!" honk

Hmmmm. Tried 4. Worked a couple of times. Then reverted back to 2. Sigh.

Go to your settings and create a profile. After I did that, seems no problems. At least for me.... Forget where it is exactly.... But you'll find it. It's at one of the main menu screens.

If you reach behind that section of seats you’ll find a latch with a little button on the side that you have to pull up to release the seat back. It’s tough to open. There is a kit available that adds a tether to it with a loop up top for simple release.

Here’s one, it can be found cheaper.

I've put one of these types of releases on my last three trucks, there are a few of them by different manufacturers on amazon

Nope. But, my wife's 3 year old low end Honda Civic will do that.

CRAZY!!!
the odd thing is that both of my explorers do it (it's in the settings) and the F150's don't but they've had mirror autofold since 2018 on the explorers and this is the first year for it on the F150's so I guess there's hope! They also have "global open" (at least I think that's what it called) on the explorers where you can open or close the windows with the key fob with the vehicle not running, yet another feature I haven't had the ambition to master because it would rarely serve me

There is a recall out for this. It's under Customer Satisfaction Program 21B06. The instrument panel cluster. They have to reprogram the IPC. Unfortunately they reprogrammed mine and it didn't work very well. Mine still does it but not as often as before they reprogrammed it.

Thanks. I know it's a minor gripe to have to press "Ok" every time I crank her up to get back to my previous screen, but it's an annoyance. I'm puzzled why they didn't see this problem which is so obvious during their test phase.
