Hey folks,

I don't know if anyone has this info but, as far as I can tell there are three 3 options for helper bags, and Three (3) C-notch Kits Available for my 2024. Each set of helper bags mounts differently to the frame, and each C-notch kit is different again, my question is which combination of helper bags/C-Notch would be most compatible or require the least amount of modification to work with my Ridetech 3/5 Lowering Kit.

Helper Bags
IHC Suspension - Full Bolt On Helper Bag kit
Ridetech - 2015-2022 F-150 | Air assist load leveling kit
BWoody F-150 Rear Shock Relocation Kit
EDIT: ReadyAir Helper Bag Kit

C-Notch Kit

VAS - Weld on C Notch
Belltech - C-NOTCH KIT
EDIT: Twisted Metalworkz - Underbed Notch

I've asked the sites selling these items with no responses yet. any help would be appreciated!

I would also double and triple check your driveshaft clearance to the back of the cab first. I know there are some combinations of cab/drivetrains that the driveshaft will hit the back of the cab. Also, depending on what you're doing with the front, you may need to get some different coilovers. I had the Ridetech ones set very low (probably 2" lower than their "recommended" range) with a 1" lowering block on the back (under-axle, so it lowered the truck), and the front end felt pretty crappy on rebound and how well it would suck up bumps.

Also to add to the above - I had spoke to Ridetech about getting the truck the lowest it could go on what is available, and they mentioned they had done tons of testing on these trucks since they were supplying the suspension for the SuperSnake and Shelby trucks. They ran into the driveshaft hitting the cab issue on certain configurations, and then the axle hitting the frame also being a problem.

If folks where able to notch the cab and the frame to let the back come down lower, the issue then was that the front spindles, coilover, and potentially the control arms would need reworking to fit the rear lower stance as well. Basically, it was a trade-off of ride quality and suspension travel v.s. being able to go 2" or so lower. Granted, I have seen certain places do a bunch of custom fab work and build things, but also, 95% of people aren't interested in going that far and potentially turning the truck into a project vehicle.

Thanks for the info, your talking about some serious work, this is my daily so I need to keep it somewhat reliable lol. I’ll admit going much further into the subject is my limits of mechanical experience.

i have my ride tech lowered far enough that it can’t be aligned properly, I wonder what a lowering spindle would do if I raise the coil overs to give more adjustability.

I have one more lower spot on the rear shackles but then need to modify the bed, I want to do that but I bottom out enough on country roads, so I was looking at the c notch/ helper bags, along with this like bwoody strut relocation kit to improve the ride.

On order ‘22 RCSB.

I put the bwoody rear shock relocation brackets on. They made a noticeable improvement on ride quality. You will need shorter shocks. The bracket reduces the shock angle and the distance between upper and lower mounting holes. Just fyi.
