Help removing 30 minute idle permanently

Can anybody assist me in figuring out how to disable 30 minute idle using Forscan. I have tried removing it and it didn't do anything. I have a 2024 F-150 Powerboost XLT. I know you can turn it off in the infotainment but it resets every time the truck starts. I am a first responder so the truck needs to idle for extended periods of time with emergency lighting activated and I don't always remember to hit the toggle because its so buried in the infotainment.

I don't know anything about forscan but since it's a PowerBoost you might be able to use generator mode in the meantime when you need to keep the truck active.

Yeah the issue is you have to do that every time you start the truck, which when the adrenaline is going is impossible to remember. I do know of the override switch but you also have to do that every time you start the truck

I would look through @Livnitup spreadsheet with anything related to police vehicle settings. Might be something in there as they sit and idle alot. Or that button...

I looked through the spreadsheets and tried what it suggested and it didn't work. I suppose I'll have to use that button

I have a 2022 Powerboost and had the same question. I found this on a Reddit Post and it worked for me. You must turn the toggle on the 30 minute idle off before you make the change though. I didn't and it permanently left the 30 minute idle on . Once the change occurs it grays out the toggle option so you can't change it. I had to do it a second time with the toggle off for it to permanently keep it off. DM me if you have questions. I assume your 2024 would be the same as my 2022 model. Here is the instructions I found on Reddit:

IPC 720-01-01 x*xx xxxx xx -Subtract 8 from the value that is in the second position denoted with *. -In the second position, there will be a letter A to F that represents a certain value. A=10, B=11, C=12, D=13, E=14, F=15.
-IE: if your second value is A, then you would replace it with 2. -IE: if your second value is F, then you would replace it with 7.

I didn't think it would. 2024+ have different APIM/IPC set-ups from 21-23. Did you try this? Change whatever you have there now to where you enable PIM and everything else stays as it is.

Just push the generator button every time you get in the truck. It won’t hurt anything and that way you won’t forget once a call comes in.
