Howdy guys,

I need some help on this 12” Screen conversion I’m trying to do on my 2023 Single Cab F-150. I made the harness exactly how Shawn O’Conell did on his YouTube Video () and nothing seems to be working. I’ve tested the harness and It’s got good ground and it’s getting power. But the screen doesn’t power on. I’ve went through 5 different 12 inch screens. 2 of the 5 Screens I tried Arc’d at the APIM connection and I’m uncertain if I fried the screen or not. If there’s any input out there of what I should do next let me know please! This has been a 3 week long process of trying to figure it out.

Thank you in advance guys! I appreciate it!

Is possible you might have fried something. Why not just get a 12” APIM you can find them on eBay 2-3 hundred

That’s what I’m doing next. I wanted to do it the cheap route for fun and see if it was possible like how it worked in the YouTube video, but those dreams went out the window. I did open up the 2 screens from the back and I saw no blown capacitors…. Good thing is I purchased them from a source with warranty so I’ll just replace mine with another and use it on the 12” APIM.
