Hi everyone. 2022 f150 XLT 301a. Upgrade from 8" sync4 to 12" infotainment, and the new APIM for 12" (h/w part MU5T-14G681-KG).
I saved my ASBs and loaded them into the new APIM.
NOW, the modem won't stay connected and Navigation is all over the place.
The only change I made to the ASBs was the single digit for 12" screen.
Anyone know why I am having these modem/GPS issues? Ford pass has issues connecting to, although it does intermittently.
So, now I have tried troubleshooting steps:
soft sync4 reset. Battery disconnect reset. Ford pass reset and reconnect. Have submitted "reports" to Ford, tried pressing "update now", and changing the auto-update schedule (is connected to home wifi with fair signal).
No luck. Thanks in advance! I have the bezel diagnostics for the modem, TPU, etc if that helps.
Current version 23045_product revision 731.
(8" apim was on 23159_product revision 915).
Side note: another weird thing I noticed is I no longer have front 4x4 cameras at speed. I confirmed all my as-builts are the same as they were before. I don't know if this is relevant at all, but just trying to add any possible clues.
