I think you may have swapped positions at the sccm. Double check the PIN numbers and what they are at the sccm

You may have to wait some time to actually tell if you have heat or not. Its not exactly like it gets frying egg hot. I dont know what temp it is where you are at also it may not be super noticable until its cooler. Make sure you have Pin 2 as Power. It may have been getting super Hot before because it wasnt limited by the temp limits in the SCCM

So I just ordered a 302a xlt powerboost and hope to add the steering wheel. What’s the chances you guys would make a start to finish video or instructions with what worked for you with part numbers to be able to do this?

Well I just ordered my 23’ so your help would be required in maybe February or March lol. I researched a bit so if someone put something consolidated together it would help a lot of other guys I’m sure. I could start ordering parts though. The price for a lariat was ridiculous, MSRP on my xlt was $72k! So this will be worth it

I am in the process of trying to figure out how to turn my 501A into a 502A, so this is a very relevant thread for me.

So far the parts that I have required, specific to my Lariat are:

Heated Wheel - ML3Z-3600-RA
HVAC module with heated wheel button (PN?)
Airbag Contact Assembly - ML3Z14A664B

I understand there is some wiring that needs to occur as well. Is this list accurate/complete? Also, I am semi-familiar with FORScan and understand changes are needed there as well

If you have heated and cooled seats and the truck is a 2021 you'll probably need this button control.
ML3Z-19980-K ford replacement parts or ML3T-18C612-DE can be found on ebay as an OEM factory leftover part.

You may also need to replace your SCCM if it doesn't have the connector on the back of it. I was considering doing this as well, but it all started to get very pricey, way more than just the $160.00 steering wheel.
