HEATED MIRRORS?

Took a few thermal pictures. One of the driver's mirror before, one after 5 minutes of Rear Defrost, then one of the back window because yolo. I didn't do an accurate reading by blocking out the mirrored finish, figured a change of state would suffice.

I’m very curious if it was there or not. It is in all the electrical schematics with no switch. Prolly why there is a ambient temp sensor on the ps mirror. Used to be in front of radiator. My 22 XLT 301A is supposed to have heated mirrors also. I find it hard to comprehend ford would deliberately mis represent after all the effort to tell us what we wouldn’t get on 22s, Compared to 21s Before delivery.
I was bent when they removed all the hi end features , lighting, head rest adjust, temp readout, bed lights etc.
those items are missed.
, but they were upfront. I still bought it. I like it. Now to add what I need.

I like the heated mirrors function with rear window defrost. I gotta say they work fast. Mine were covered with ice and snow, -20 f windchill. They cleared in 10 minutes of driving and actually were dry.

Mine turn on with the heated steering wheel button and clear the mirrors of condensation quick for me.
My truck stays outside so I use it a lot in the mornings.

I had the same experience today, had freezing rain overnight and within about 10-15 minutes my side mirrors were bone dry, I was impressed!

Did u every fix your driver side mirror. I’m having the same issue. Noticed it last week that the driver side wasn’t getting hot. Definitely confirmed that today. I had the same issue in my 2012. Did you end up just replacing the mirror. I’m going to get the dealership to look at this week

I never had an issue with my heated mirrors. The thermal pictures I took were one of the drivers mirror with no rear defrost, one of the drivers mirror after 5 minutes of rear defrost, then the back window

Ohh alright. Guess the dealership will have to fix my issue. So annoying
