Headliner rattle above the driver in the cold

I agree. It is what it is. I mean my 1997 S10 sounded like a box of Lego’s lol. I put a piece of weather strip under the headliner and that’s dampened the creaks there. But that overhead bar I’m cautious on becuase I think here is a water channel for penetration

yeah i've read into the fixes but im hesitant to really apply a fix not knowing if there will be any ill effects. it functions great just rattles. i'll deal with that til march and then enjoy it when it gets warmer again haha

I’ve never had a moon or pano roof in my life seeing water come in and drain out freaked me out at first. Im
Still not sure about that cross section but at least the sides are draining as intended

I wouldn’t even consider it. I prefer the insides of the F150, the exterior appearance of the Silverado and the engine of the Ram. I need a blend... I need a Silverado with a 5.7hemi and the 502 or 302 internals of the F150 and it would be the Goldilocks lol. Buy American.

It's so true. Having had one of each of the latest generations, I wish I could pick and choose and make one mashup!

I fixed mine about a year ago using JB Weld epoxy where the factory glue failed. I’ve got a post on here about it a will update this post with the link.

Would you classify the noise as like a "clunk" not a rattle? Like there's two pieces of plastic shifting against each other? Not a squeak though.

I am 100% sure I have noise coming from my moon roof, because if I crack it open the noise goes away completely, but unsure beyond lubing all the seals with the recommended stuff (which I did about 6 months ago) I can do to diagnose it.

I love this damn moon roof but now ive about had it.

I got the "clunk" and the rattle when i shut my door...

and to make things worse, was listening to Warren G-Regulators and my back sliding window is rattling so bad i thought it was falling off the truck! starting to wonder if i should downgrade to a solid rear window

I also had the bass rattle from the rear slider and took it to the dealer to fix it under a TSB which I have attached. It resolved the issue for the most part, but after a month or two when the slider was open all of the way it wouldn't close on it's own. I had to push it a little to get it going and then it would close on its own. Since my 3 year warranty is up next month I took it back to the dealer on Monday and they're telling me they have to replace the whole back glass to fix it. They ordered the glass but I am not sure how I feel about replacing the whole glass due to the possibility of it not sealing properly and leaking in the future. Am I worrying about nothing?

This is one of the rattles I have. Thinking when the weather gets warmer of putting a piece of rubber or similar between the head liner and the body to prevent the pieces from rubbing against each other.
