Have you done maintenance on your truck and re-used bolts that the manual says to discard?

This is a recurring discussion on the Mustang forums as well. The brake caliper bolts are listed as "one time use" but only because they come with thread locker on them. As stated earlier, clean off the old thread locker, reapply, and reinstall. Nylock nuts should be replaced as they deform when torqued and retain that memory after removal.
Thanks guys. I learned something new today. I never realized why Ford would say they were one time use bolts.

I have reused shock bolts and nuts on many F150s over the years, never had one back off. Done it with steering wheel bolts too, and never had one loosen up. Thats not to say I am telling anyone to do the same.
