New to the ford stuff Thinking of removing rear lift blocks from factory and adding some 1” shackles it’s a 4x4 rcsb 2025 so didn’t know what shims to get took a gamble order 2.5 shim and 2wd bump stops, ubolts hardware etc from ford. But if u had any input of what else i should get or what shims i should go for let me know thanks.

How did this end up working out for you, was considering doing the same thing and just buying shims before I know exactly what degree, did you install everything? Did it work out well?

2wd bump stops , 2wd shocks and all. New hardware is key. Still feel a slight vibration around 80mph for half a sec then goes way but did remove the ugly factory rake. No alignment what so ever was needed, and it rides great like oem

Yah, the stock rake on these is crazy, i was thinking of lowering the rear like this, then getting adjustable front coilover to bring it closer to level, still haven't decided yet

Not directly relevant, but a reference nonetheless, I got 2.5 degree shims for a 2wd with a 1.5' lowering shackle.

On my 2024 RCBS 4x4 I installed Ford performance 1.5” drop shackles, removed the blocks, and installed SPC 2.5 degree shims.

The stock blocks did have taper built into them. Using the 2.5 degree shims kept the same pinion angle I had prior to modifications. You will install the shims with the fat edge rearward.

My goal was to reverse level the truck, which I got close to but still had a full inch of rake. Truck also rode better with more weight on the rear.

Hi, I have a 2023 4x4 f150 that I want to level/lower. Same as everyone Iam thinking of removing the lift blocks and changing the rear shackles and doing some coils in the front, maybe using the Ford lowering kit not sure how good it is need to see more reviews but when I do what kid is the best one to use and if you remove the blocks, which shims do you need to use

@Buddy726 I've had the Ford lowering kit installed ($700) by a local dealer on my '24 since July of 2024 and have had no issues. I would recommend buying the SPC caster/camber alignment kit and have it installed with the lowering kit. The tech couldn't get the front alignment exact, but I didn't know about the SPC C/C kit until 6 months later after the install. I measured the pre and post install heights, and it was exactly as advertised-- 1.25" F, 2.5" R. It's not a lot, but definitely noticeable vs stock. It rides as good as or better than stock, even with 20x8.5 BAP wheels with 275/55/20 Toyo Proxes STIII's.
