Ditched the stock Hankook Dynapro AT2s for some new Duratrac RT. Immediate improvement on dirt.
I have the older Duratracs on my Jeep XJ and love them.

RT's have a 3 ply sidewall, and Kevlar reinforced. 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake Rated. Not studdable in this size (275/60R20).

There's a higher service load version 123S/120 (not needed on an F150 in this size, these are 115T) and also a LT-RT version.

Had those on my old truck and liked them, really changed the look of the truck.

Had Discount Tire put a set of Duratrac RT's on my truck this past weekend in size 35x12.5x20. They are replacing a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers. 1st impression is that Goodyears are much quieter and ride much, much smoother than the Nitto's ever did. Happy so far.

Forgot to mention, DIscount Tire matched Amazon's price, saving me $200, they gave me a AAA discount of $40, and then Goodyear has a mail-in rebate of $100 right now!

So is the RT a little more aggressive then the standard Duratrac?
No, tread is very similar, they are the new replacement for the old Duratrac. The old Duratrac was a 2-ply sidewall which had been criticized. I never had any issues on my Jeep. The RT has a 3 ply sidewall and is Kevlar reinforced.

I just read that 3 ply as heavier when Duratrac was already a heavy tire. Ran two sets on my 2011 F-150 18" size. I don't really care about off-road but we do get snow so looking to replace the 20" OEM. I like the look of these looks like a real truck tire.

Thank you. Tried Duratracs found them to be great for offroad performance. I was actually quite impressed with snow performance. But man they did they start to hum around 10k.

It is typical for a winter tire to have a softer sidewall, this isn't always great on a truck/offroad tire, so I think that's why they have updated them to be 3 ply. On my Jeep they've been a great tire year round, on road, off road, winter, summer etc.

So far the road noise is about the same as the stock Hankooks.

Old Duratrac would hum all the time after probably 10k miles. Long wear though and looked like a real truck tire for the occasional 4x4 needs.

Is your truck leveled?? I just bought a 24 and kept the factory tire size 275 60 20.
I'm getting the same tires put on duratracRT. Wondering if I should go with 1.5 or 2". Post a side pic of you do have it leveled. I went with 1.5 on my 2018 and it looks good (same tire size). Just not sure about this 2024.

I didn't have it "levelled" but the stock ride height looks correct.

I used the factory tire size.
