An interesting point was raised in a thread I started on checking fluid level cold.

How many of y'all have observed a suspected overfill or underfill from the factory?

Fluid level was spot on when I checked it per the factory service manual

Both my 2020 Ranger and 22 F150 were under filled.

The Ranger was 2.5 qts low
The F150 was 1.75 qts low.

So they were getting better.
