Gauge Cluster

Anyone know what triggers the map to display like this? From a. Short trial and error I have found it shows up like this when I’m .3 miles from a turn or destination and only shows up when the cluster is displaying the tire pressure. Anyone have insights?

Mine only does this if I am using the built-in GPS/navigation to get somewhere. Otherwise it is on which ever screen I leave it on in My View.

It should show up like this when navigating from any screen. It does for me.

You are using navigation. Built in or Apple or Google all will spread the gauges and show giant turn indicator on cluster.

That was using Apple car play. Apple Maps

Is it not a shrinking bar showing you that a turn is coming up? The MME has a little bar next to it that's shrinking as the turn approaches like it's a simple route-ending notification basically say turn now when it runs out.

Ideally a HUD would be displaying a line where the turn is.
