I just took delivery of my '24 PowerBoost and noticed that under some harder acceleration the gas pedal pulses. Not heavy throttle application but just a little harder than normal driving.
It kind of comes in waves. It starts off weak, gets a little stronger and then stops. Then starts the cycle over again. As soon as I back off the throttle it stops. This has happened at varying speeds - in town going up a hill or on the highway.
Is this part of the EV coaching to keep me out of the throttle? This seems different from what other threads have described regarding pedal vibration. It almost seems intentional. I asked a friend who has a '23 PowerBoost and his doesn't do this, so I wasn't sure if it was something new for '24 or not.
Whatever it is is annoying and I'd like to turn it off if it is indeed part of coaching.
