That's the problem, pedal is all the way down but I need it further down than the lowest position. It wasn't an issue on my last two Gen 14s so hoping it was just an adjustment thing from the factory that could be tweaked.

Yeah sorry, don't know much about adjusting the gas pedal, or if the motorized version sticks out farther then the regular one due to the mechanism. My only issue was the brake pedal so that's all I looked into.

Man I hope this is the fix, I’ve been wanting to get rid of my truck for a while now because it’s been a year of me constantly adjusting the seat because the pedals aren’t in a good spot. My brake pedal was nearly as far forward as those threads allowed, now they’re backed off quite a bit. Feels much better in the driveway but I have my 13mm in my console in case I need to adjust it on the road. I will say my wife’s Durango never gave me this awkward pedal position feel though and that brake pedal is very obviously closer to the driver than gas.

Has anyone else found the gas and brake pedal to be awkwardly placed? I have the power adjustable pedals, and they are set all the way back.

I haven't quite figured out if the pedals don't go back far enough, or aren't high enough, or maybe the brake pedal is too far to the left, but I find my ankle and hip aching after 15-20 mins driving.

I'm 6'-5" around 225 lbs, and I've put 1,500 kms on this thing, but I just cannot seem to get comfortable....it just seems ergonomically wrong for me.

Anyone else of a similar stature finding the same thing?

Hey i know this thread is from years ago but did you ever find a solution? Was it just a break in period? I just got into a Lariat and i am experiencing the same issues, i just cannot get comfortable in the truck. Any advice would be so welcomed please!

Anyone with any solution? I am 6'1 and I just cannot get comfortable. My xlt does not have adjustable pedals but I did sit in a lariat today and while the pedals were better they still werent very comfortable. Im trying to get out of my head about it but my ankle and hip will ache as well. Idk if it's the pedals, the seat, or what. I was extremely comfortable in my 18 f150 and with this one Im constantly adjusting and aching in my hip/leg. The pedals seem too far to the left. It's easier to get to the brake pedal with my left foot than my right... that's not okay. And like Ptpint said, small pedals as well. Frustrating.

Did you ever find a solution or did it just get better? I can't get comfortable in my F150 i just got and its driving me crazy

I’m 6’5” also. I have the auto pedals and even all the way to the floor the pedals seem too close to me. Glad I’m not the only one struggling with finding a good driving position.

Is this solution only for non-adjustable pedals? My 23 for some reason has the gas pedal almost even with the brake pedal and it's way too close for me (6'6"). Trying to find ways to adjust the gas pedal down further away from me. What's odd is my 21 and 22 had the gas pedal further away so it makes me think there is an adjustment screw like you reference, but I just can't find it when looking under there. Appreciate any help.

Update - I found the adjustment for the brake pedal but can't find anything for the accelerator pedal. Brake pedal position is fine, its the accelerator pedal that is too close so my foot is uncomfortably bent when not using cruise. I'm really hoping the gas pedal can be adjusted too.

Well for anyone that is interested or finds this later, the screw 100% works. When looking at it, it looks like there is only about 1/2-3/4 of an inch of adjustability on the threads. Well let me tell you, my brake pedal was probably close to 3 inches closer to the driver than my gas pedal and when I adjusted it I only had to go halfway down the threads. MUCH better. Is it 100% comfortable now? No but probably 80-90% better. Thank you Static, such a small piece of info has made this truck much more comfortable for me. And for those wondering, brake pedal travel and effectiveness is completely unchanged. This is simply just a set screw for position.

Hey man i know this thread is from a while ago but did you ever get comfortable in your truck? Also i am trying to adjust the brake pedal like you did but i can't find the right nut, i have 2 here, are these the ones? I really appreciate any advice
