Has anyone else found the gas and brake pedal to be awkwardly placed? I have the power adjustable pedals, and they are set all the way back.

I haven't quite figured out if the pedals don't go back far enough, or aren't high enough, or maybe the brake pedal is too far to the left, but I find my ankle and hip aching after 15-20 mins driving.

I'm 6'-5" around 225 lbs, and I've put 1,500 kms on this thing, but I just cannot seem to get comfortable....it just seems ergonomically wrong for me.

Anyone else of a similar stature finding the same thing?

I'm 5'6" and I have my pedals adjusted all the way toward the floor. They just seem awkward to me if adjusted up higher.

I agree, not very comfortable. The pedals seem too high up. They can adjust front back, but not up and down. I wear size 10 shoes and the ball of my foot is below the bottom of the pedals, even at the lowest setting. I've considered raising the floor an inch or so by putting a pad or board under the mat.

Edit: It is actually only in the brake pedal that is too high. The accelerator pedal is comfortable enough, as is the dead pedal. But the brake battle is pushed towards the driver by an inch or two and is higher off the floor.

I agree brake pedal to far to the left I’ve given up and I use my left foot now to brake. Im extremely disappointed with ford. The seat is smaller and overall not comfortable.
i plan to private sell my 2021 king ranch and get something else.

ford if you read this and we know you do I’d love to hear your justification for the terrible engineering decisions on seat and pedal changes. Not to mention wheel alignment from factory was off and after two trips to the dealership still pulls to the left.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to move these back even further than the furthest setting allows for?
I am 6'5" and have accepted to the low headroom with moonroof problem, but still cant really get comfortable with the brake pedals. Feels like the ergonomics aren't really made for me in this vehicle. Just cannot get comfortable at all.

It would be easier to relocate the seat than to modify the firewall.

Anyone with any solution? I am 6'1 and I just cannot get comfortable. My xlt does not have adjustable pedals but I did sit in a lariat today and while the pedals were better they still werent very comfortable. Im trying to get out of my head about it but my ankle and hip will ache as well. Idk if it's the pedals, the seat, or what. I was extremely comfortable in my 18 f150 and with this one Im constantly adjusting and aching in my hip/leg. The pedals seem too far to the left. It's easier to get to the brake pedal with my left foot than my right... that's not okay. And like Ptpint said, small pedals as well. Frustrating.

I also have the power pedals and I too think that the most farther position of the pedals (close to the firewall) is still too high, I would prefer them to be further down towards the firewall.

Do you feel like the brake pedal is to the left a lot? Like you have to pull your whole leg up to get your ankle comfortably on the brake pedal?

I'll be honest with you - didn't really notice that, but next time I'll drive I'll pau more attention to that.
What I did notice however is that the pedals are "hard", lack of some softness, compared to my previous ride. Also, there is much more travel of the pedal until the brake light comes on. Again, compared to my previous ride (Hondas), the light would come on within 1/16" of a pedal movement.

I definitely feel like the brake pedal is too high. I want to add a one-inch spacer to the accelerator and dead pedal so they are straight across.

I would agree. I understand there is suppose to be some offset between the two pedals but my brake pedal is probably about 2-3 inches higher (closer to driver). Makes it feel crammed, especially with no adjustable pedals.
