Full screen option 2023 platinum??

Is there a way to get the screen to show full screen like some of the 2024 models by hitting the double arrow icon at the top left of the screen?
Mine always is split screen and it's annoying, I don't have the double arrow option on the screen.

I have a 23 and when using CarPlay, It always goes to full screen by pressing the double arrows.

My ‘23 didn’t do it until I updated my sync, I don’t recall the specific version that it was released but an update will add it

Sounds like you need a sync update. My '21 would go full screen after an update back in '23

You need the sync update. I did it via FDRS. You can try logging into the owner.ford.com and click on software updates, see if it lists any sync updates there. Do you have OTA updates turned on?

I also did mine via FDRS. It should technically be available through OTA updates. I have the same question for you. Are OTA updates turned on?

I'll check for OTA updates, I assume it is in the main console screen.
My Ford dealer did not know how to do it, DUH!

It's under settings/ software updates on the center screen. If for some reason it still doesn't update after a few days FDRS is your best option. You'll need a flash drive too.

It's the Ford scan tool. You can buy a 3 day license for $50. With a laptop, high quality adapter, and a battery charger you can update any modules that may need it. Or you can try and convince your dealer to do it so you don't have to worry about buying and using all the right stuff. See how the OTA updates go first

My dealer (FORD) can't even get a rear axel lube change right!
I would not trust them with this update.

Does anyone know which update gives me the full screen option?

23291 isn't the most recent, but it should give you full screen
