I'm fully aware that this is a volatile topic, so I will lead with that. That having been said, with an amp that puts out 50w RMS to the two front channels, what does everyone think about Kicker KS 6"x9" front components vs. the Alpine S2 8" front components? Both will require custom mid bass and tweeter adapters and both will also have matching 6.5 or 6.75 coaxials in the rear. Being in my mid 40's, I am no longer looking for the best of the best. Instead, I'm looking for the best available in this price range. If there are other solid options I am overlooking, please let me know.
