Got forscan and changed the following codes listed below. Everything worked great until i went to change a couple more things the next morning. it was saying i needed a "Transmission Characterization Update" leading to changing the solenoid strategy number (i attached screen shots for better understandings). Havent touched the trans or any part on the truck. Im sure its something i did but just cant figure out what.

bdyCM
double honk on leaving cabine -- changed ON to OFF
Using high beams with fog lamps -- changed OFF to ON
tire pressure monitor -- changed ON to OFF

IPC
reverse brake assist -- changed ON to OFF
approaching vehicle audible system -- changed ON to OFF (also disconnect pedestrian wire beneath glove box)

Looks like you running that instead of opening PCM to change asbuilt.

If I actually get my new truck, I'm fixin' to research this forscan stuff.
Seems like youtube has quite a few tutorials on it.

It does appear you clicked on starting that service procedure when I assume you were wanting to modify PCM asbuilt info.

Ryan, did you make a backup of your original files? This is the first thing recommended in the livinitup tutorial. If you did this as instructed, then I would consider loading the backup file and going back to initial state. Hopefully your issue will go away at that point.

Once you verify that, then I would treat FORScan changes with the ultimate respect and use care.

NEVER change more than one thing at a time! Once you change something, verify it and ensure that it doesn't cause any secondary effects. Back up everything that you do and put your files on a cloud service so that they won't "disappear."
