My 2022 XLT has received the most recent updates (3.5.4 and 4.2.1). My iPhone will connect for CarPlay, and the odometer and distance to empty are correct in FordPass. I can lock and unlock the doors from the home page of the app. However, I cannot get the FordPass Zone Lighting and Trailer Light Check functions to work. They both show "not connected". I have tried rebooting Sync and power cycling my phone. Nothing changed. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It’s IOS related. Have the same issue but used my android tablet and works fine. The fordpass update on iOS side messed it up. The horn and lights text is missing below the button too.

Thanks. I guess I'll just have to wait for Ford's software engineers to get their act together.

Supposedly update 4.2.1.2 is on the way. I called with different issues, and the latest update is already being rolled out, and I was told if I don't have it I should by April 4.

But the catch 22 is since my FP isn't connnecting to my Truck, any update isn't going to get to the truck either. I'm trying the unplug the TCU overnight to see if that will fix it. Some have luck with that, some do not. If that doesn't work, I might try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 15-30min, supposedly that works.

TCU unplug overnight no workie. On the fence whether or not I disconnect the battery for a bit. I think the problem is either the latest update, or the TCU. So there's probably a 50/50 shot that the battery disconntect will work, If I don't do it, I guess I just wait for some magic update or take it to the dealer.
