FordPass 5.0 not refreshing

I noticed since FordPass got updated to 5.0, I can no longer refresh the vehicle status and location via swipe down on my iPhone screen. When i did the swipe down, nothing happens. Anyone else have this issue?

Not being able to manually update had me hoping it meant the status was updated more frequently. Guess not

You should be able to just tap the lock button and when the vehicle locks again it'll update the status

Mine did pretty good traveling over the holiday weekend. It updated my locations with no problem but twice it showed the truck was running when it wasn't.

I having this exact problem now. Locking in the app will make it update the status of my truck but I didn’t have to do that before.

This happened after my battery got changed and APIM got master reset. I had to activate my truck with Fordpass again and it hasn’t been the same since.

You could try clearing the cache and data in Fordpass, you'll have to login to Fordpass again after doing this. But it will automatically reconnect to the truck.

I actually deleted FordPass, re-installed, and logged in again. It still has the same problem.

Gotcha, ya it was just a thought, I saw the problem you're having with the update. There's got to be more to it then. Definitely post your resolve when you figure it out. Good luck. ?

I saw that you had the same issue in May. Did it eventually fix itself?

I know this is an old post. Now at 5.9 version. Try going to App Store and updating. I am on 5.9 no issues. Has new features also. I had to go to App Store to upgrade.
