most of the adds seem to be no-brainers; the incremental price increases are so small.

On her new maverick, we paid the extra $455 to go for $0 instead of $100 deductible. I figure CV twice, battery (at least) once, and only 1.5 more to break even!

The increases by number of years are fairly small, as are those by mileage--right until going past 100k! ?

the confusing one is the extended towing, which costs about twice as much for only half the amount.
?
On the truck in '21 we did the $0 ded. But on the '25 ST we did $100 ded to save on the policy. Figured if we had to make 5 qualified warranty items, then oh well, we lost $45. I'm betting we don't have 5 items between the factory coverage and 8y/100k ESP. ymmv.

Hope you're right...we did the $100 deductible too. Good luck to us all.

I usually go with Zeigler.

I just purchased a 9yr/125k PremiumCARE ($200 deductible) for $1,815 last week for my F150.

Note: If you go with Zeigler, enter the PAYINFULL in the "Promotional Code" box when pricing your plan.

Bottom line, $1,815 is a great price for a 9yr/125k PremiumCARE warranty.

It's there...you can even see the box in my photo. Make sure you're getting a quote for the Extended Service Plan (ESP). If you're getting a quote for maintenance or combined with something else, it might not be there.

Tim,

Go to Flood Ford's website and run the quote yourself online. You will get a good idea on what the quote should be. Keep in mind, it is my understanding the more warranties a dealership sells, the cheaper their actual cost is. This is why Flood Ford and some others (like Grainger) can sell the warranties cheaper than most dealerships and still make a profit. Plus, a lot of dealerships see this option as a gravy train and usually double the cost to the consumer. Just my opinion.

Tim, DO NOT purchase from your dealer before checking Flood's price. I saved over $2000 on my Bronco and another $2000 on my previous Ranger going through Flood Ford. Apparently, this is where many dealerships make a lot of their revenue--from selling over-priced warranties. Flood and Granger (and a few others) offer the same exact ESP/Warranty for $50-$100 above their cost. Good luck, my friend!
