I have a 2023 F-150 Lariat FX4 and I drive about 20k miles/yr. Using the helpful info I got from this forum I just purchased a 6 yr / 125k mile PremiumCare Protect Plan, with lighting add-on and $100 deductible, from Flood Ford. I had never even heard of this dealer, or Granger, before visiting this forum, so THANK YOU!

I wanted to post my experience in case it helps someone else.

I compared Flood, Granger, and Zeigler. Flood and Granger were closer so I took a harder look.

Flood - $2105 (no admin fee)
Granger - $2105 + $210.50 admin fee = $2315.50

I used some Ford Pass points and "e-check" to save a few more bucks too. Thanks Flood Ford!

I thought Granger only did the admin fee if you paid over time?

Paid no Admin Fee. Paid cash. At that time Granger was hundreds less than any other online seller.

Yeah on Granger your choice defaults to payments. You have to choose to pay in full. Kinda kicks that no interest in the butt.

Only can buy from Calif. dealer. People have said use another address, but have read dealers will not accept the coverage if bought out of state.

Man that would be criminal to say that to a Ford owner. What if bought the vehicle from my home in Iowa and just moved to the state. I would press a dealership if they said that to me. ESP follows the vehicle.

They can tell where it sold from. Would assume moving here would be different story. Then buying truck in ca and warranty out of state. It’s all stupid anyways.

I knew Florida had some weird issues and didn't know about California but not surprised.

Florida law requires extended warranties to be sold only by a licensed FL dealer. Ziegler has a FL license. The law in Florida also requires that plans be sold at published (MAP) pricing, which is why they are so much more expensive. I'm pretty sure CA is the same.

Yup, I've been kicking around getting an ESP and since I'm in FL I'm not seeing anything better than ~$5k for a 10yr/100k with the $200 deductible.

That's close to what I was quoted from Ford, $4800 for the 10yr/100k with a $100 deductible.
