Ford performance no longer able to provide vehicle status

I just tried to track my xlt build with ford performance like i have in the past. They informed me that ford only allows them to track performance vehicles from here on out. I have a vin but the tracker on this forum and fords tracking site nolonger pull up my build. Anyone else having this issue?

I literally just got off of a chat with them. Found out my build date got pushed back to 11/3.

Well that stinks. They were our lifeline to information. Ford should have a real-time update that allows customers to access the latest information on their build especially during these times of extended wait periods. Need much better communication. I appreciate the enormity of trying to get individualized information to millions or people but the chat was working without much wait time so not sure why they would shut that down.

Didn't think about that. I just asked if they could give me some info on my custom ordered vehicle and then sent the order number and vin. Didn't fill in the vehicle type info at the beginning.

I just put f150 where it asks model. But he asked if it was a raptor. Told him xlt. Then all dowm hill from there

Not sure what happened to my text! Ford Performance division is specifically those vehicles listed. When other forum members said they were using the Performance Ford chat to get status updates on their 'regular F150s' (i.e. not Raptor), it seemed like it was only a matter of time before they started cracking down on what info they were handing out. King Ranch wouldn't fall under Ford Performance either.

Update. I tried tracking via ford performance again. This time just giving them the order number and sales code instead of von. Looks like i got pushed back to production date of 12/3. Ouch

This makes sense. I think they are getting bombarded with people like me who hit them up to track. I did try again and was able to get an update.

And me...and the rest of us. That's exactly the problem, Ford should have a reliable, accurate and up-to-date online tracking system for us, this will save their employees and dealers a lot of hassle from those of us who just want to know what's going on.

So much for my weekly check in with FP on Fridays. Had become part of my morning routine. Here in Canada we can't even use the tracker on the Ford website

Ford Performance had been answering my emails - until this week. They stated in their reply this week that I needed to either go on-line to shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking# or call my dealer for information related to my F-150 production / delivery status.

They had been real responsive and receptive to inquiries until this week. Don't know if it's Ford Performance management or if it's Ford Corporate - but someone's installed an information "Iron Wall".

I don't even see the point of the tracker if it doesn't work half the time and won't update in real-time. Guess I'll have to bug my dealer once a week now.
