Hey everyone,

I loved the most recent debut of the 2024 arms offerings from Ford especially the ford custom garage. Even though I have a 2022 I hope they release some of these parts to put on my truck! In addition to that one can read that the f150 concept was created on a 5.0 XLT platform and the link below mentions a ford performance tune. Does that mean the 5.0 is getting a tune soon? I hope!

Same we can only hope, there is for sure a market for a mild 5.0 increase without making the jump straight to the supercharger

I also hope if they do a tune you will have the option to turn cylinder deactivation.
I'm hoping for this as well. Literally the only reason I'm going to tune my truck when I'm out of warranty, I'm tired of switching to sport mode every time I drive

I wish someone would make an OBD plugin like the do for Chevy to turn off CD.

I want the Tremor Skid Plate off the ORV!!!!
Dang, I didn’t even notice it had that! I’ve been waiting for Ford to release the Tremor skid plate as a kit for the 24+ models like they have for 21-23

That was the first thing I noticed!!!?

They need to hurry up and do it!!! I need that!!!

If it's a N/A 5.0, not much left on the bone of the factory tune being that it's N/A. If you locked yourself into higher octane fuels you could pick some up. The biggest benefit IMO is drivability changes like no skip shift / etc... and ford won't be changing that.
For 21-3s run 50/50 e85 and 87 octane.

There may not be much addl HP available, but there is no question the current programming absurdly limits output at times. Especially on takeoff, it limits torque at part throttle, probably to prevent wheelspin with the open diff. I run 93 octane from Costco and when in 4th, to 7th gear, it's still moving the throttle body wildly, with a steady pedal, leading to very unsteady acceleration at times.

Yes, Shell 93 is generally better and reduces some 'timing pulls' and throttle plate modulation events. But even so, the OEM tune on this thing is very far from giving me what I ask for.

Not to mention the utter inability to get away from road rage idiots, due to the top speed limiter.

Found the FP tune for the Mustang GT 5.0, comes with new throttle body and cold air intake for the tune. Picks up 42 lb ft of torque at 2,000 rpm naturally aspirated. This would be a very nice purchase if they offered.
