So I just called my local dealership to schedule the Drive Shaft recall and the TRM as well as try to get updated to Blue Cruise and was told the earliest date for any recall work is Sept 28th. In no way can that be acceptable and I will now have to research if legal under NHTSA rules. What a complete joke.

Go to a different dealer and report that one to Ford. They are owned independently, but Ford needs to know as it reflects the brand as a whole.

Talking to Ford Corporate now, but just insane the hoops that we have to jump through to get them to support a $70k truck. Wouldn’t update my PCM last time despite a TSB and now this shit.

And shockingly Ford Customer Service was useless. Told me they couldn’t reach the service department but it was probably a capacity issue and I could call around for other dealers. So again, I’m left jumping through hoops to have them fix safety issues on a truck they manufactured. Reaching out to the NHTSA next to file a complaint.

nm, missed that you also had a Bluecruise issue

I was told similar by my dealer several weeks ago. But I also had another issue I needed them to look at, and then they could suddenly do the recall work at the same time. Find something else you want them to fix (shouldn't be hard) and then ask them to do the recall work at the same time.

Had the brake control recall applied to my truck while they replaced the ignition coil on cylinder #1. When I got the truck back active driver's assist didn't work. Scheduled a new service call and got into a debate with the service tech because he didn't understand that lane-keeping and active drivers assist were different features. Asked them to do the Field Service 21G01 to upgrade to BlueCruise - wouldn't do it because it wasn't in OASIS, and now nothing works, scheduling with a new dealership in hopes of a better outcome. Worst $80G's I ever spent

Be careful, it's likely the dealership loaded the older brake controller software and not the updated one that the recall is supposed to address:

That’s good. But unfortunately it’s also a coincidence. Ford has finally released the exact version of the software to be installed in the TRM to address the recall. It has not been posted to FDRS yet. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...-campaign-nhtsa-22s17-22v193.9742/post-201582

If the software installed on your TRM does not end with the suffix DH, then the recall has not been completed, regardless of what your dealer tells you.

My 2021 f-125 is the absolute worst vehicle I`ve ever owned. Good luck with these idiots as ford service people and their engineers can`t hit their ass with both hands.
