My powerboost makes all weird kinds of clicks, whirls, groans, and pumping sounds at random times. I thought it was normal for this hybrid. I'm at five months and 4500 miles.
Mine two although I have never noticed any while driving in the garage, especially with the key in your pocket, its like WTH :ROFLMAO:

Mine does random clicks too, especially when I walk next to it with approach detection. I think this is quite normal, I don’t pay much attention to it

I was working on mine today with the hood up. I placed the key far away so it wouldn't react to my constant walk to the toolbox and then back to the truck, triggering approach procedures.

Every few minutes it would click, and a couple of them were significantly loud with the hood up.
These Powerboost trucks are a marvel of "systems" collectively.

I bought my truck March 15, broke (heat exchanger) on second day. 6.5 weeks later I get it back and four days after that I’m now hearing a clicking noise under the truck. Dealership actually told me to just drive it and get used to the new noises trucks make. I’ve had this truck nearly 2 months and it’s only been in my driveway for 6 days. I came from a 2011 Silverado and this is my first new truck and first Ford period. Is continual breakdowns common? If you have had similar experience, did you just go with it? Im at a loss at the moment.
NO, Don’t settle for pour quality! I am actually turning my power boost in as a lemon. When you are paying high $$ for these trucks they need to be perfect.

Find a caring dealer and have them service it. What I was doing when I was getting errors was videoing on my phone. Because every time I went to get my truck serviced the error would not happen. I didn’t want the dealer to thing I was crazy when I brought it in.

It is sad that I am turning mine in for a lemon because I truly loved driving it as it drove like a dream (when I could drive it). I will get another platty when this is over.

Per the rear clicking I have been able to figure this one out even though the dealer told me to get used to the noise because it's normal. It's the rear u bolt plates. It seems to be a cast plate right up against the leaf spring. When the frame flexes it shifts just enough to make a click. According to the TSB on it you remove the U bolts, shock and plate, grease it and reinstall. My truck started doing it at 9k miles. I'm just dealing with it now since last time the dealer had my truck it took 4 days to diagnose absolutely nothing when my powerboost wouldn't start intermittently.

Dealers are useless now I can't wait for them to be a thing of the past.
