Ford/dealer clearing old vehicles from FordPass?

I had a Ford escape about 2 years ago that is still in my app. I can see the location, start/stop, lock/unlock it still, which is concerning if buying a used vehicle. Who should be clearing these vehicles from previous owner's apps? Seems like a huge security flaw.

You can delete it from your app and should. I agree that Ford should also double check for any vehicles they take on trade. They would have no way of knowing about personal sales.

Interesting you brought this up. I traded my 2015 on the 13th of June and deleted it from my Fordpass app. Two weeks ago I got 6000 points on my Fordpass for the brake job special that Ford has going right now. It has to be from my 2015 I traded, I sure haven't had brakes done on my 2021! So is the 2015 still in Fords system under my name even though I deleted it? I know the dealer sold it a week later.

I had a notice that the Ram I traded was below an 1/8 of a tank of gas a couple of weeks ago. I still had my Uconnect app on my phone. There is no easy way to delete a vehicle from it like Ford. So, I uninstalled the Uconnect app.

Same here, I have access to all the information I had when I owned the truck.
