The carbon pattern plate printed pretty well!

Correct.Hmmm, this mod has its attractions. I'd have a learning curve to get used to a knob, but I don't really care for the feel, action, or bulk of the OE lever.
A summary of my understandings from this thread just to be certain there are no surprises if I do this .....
With an appropriate console tray, shifter PN NL1Z-7P155-B provides
I do not have 3D printing capabilities; the ABS version of this ETSY tray
- Direct plug-and-play replacement the lever Gear Shift Module in my 2021 Lariat 3.5EB 4WD with 4A transfer case, no harness mods required
- No codes, no programming required
- Shifter function will be identical to the lever, axle locking and transfer case functions will remain on the dash control as they are now
- The shifter knob will have tactile detents for each position
- The shifter knob will self-rotate to P same as the OE lever moves to P in certain situations
Anything incorrect in the above summary? Any other potential 'surprises' / downsides?
- Is correct for the above shifter in my 2021 Lariat
- Uses screws to fasten the shifter module to the tray
- The ABS should be long-term robust in extreme Texas heat
Thanks in advance.
This looks great! Carbon doesn’t line up with the cubby cover though. The carbon pattern plate printed pretty well!

Should be plug and play. I suggest you take the drivers side trim and disconnect the shifter - and connect the part you got to confirm it works before you trim the tabs on it (in case you need to return it). Turn the truck on, actuate it, then turn it off. Should see no errors, and reset or programming is not needed.Hmmm, this mod has its attractions. @Buyer2021 - If it matters I believe the Etsy seller (Manion Makes) has a unit that requires you to use the shifters "holes" to attach the shifter to the cubby holder with screws naturally. Although I have not gotten that far on mine I did just recieve my holder from Etsy and it looks like that is the case. In another post someone said to use M5 screws to attach it.Hmmm, this mod has its attractions. Yes I got mine the other day, you use the 4 original screw holes of the shifter part and 3 to hold it down. Regarding the screws, I was told M5 here, but I reached out to him and he said M4. I already had the M5's bought so I used them. He also said he was going to start selling the screws with the part.@Buyer2021 - If it matters I believe the Etsy seller (Manion Makes) has a unit that requires you to use the shifters "holes" to attach the shifter to the cubby holder with screws naturally. The 3D print file may use another method of attaching the shifter. Magnets started out but I do believe there is a screw use file out there too. However I think both 3D files require you to cut off the screw tabs on the shifter to make it fit.
Not a big deal but that may matter to you.
Perhaps some of the Etsy people can chime in to verify. I'll get a picture of the bottom of the Etsy one later today.
Man if you have both and can try both, it will be outstanding to hear your opinion of the installation and comments on both units.Yes I got mine the other day, you use the 4 original screw holes of the shifter part and 3 to hold it down. I needed to do some very minor filing around the + button on the etsy part, it was sticking.
FYI mine will go in today and then I can decide which I am going to keep and use. I also bought AJ's.
Yes but, in order to do AJ's I will need to cut off the switch hole eyelets. The problem is, if i dont like AJ's, I cant go back to Etsy's. Having been one of the early ones requesting the switch moved forward, I like the small covey for my phone to stand up in on the Etsy one. Gonna try and install today, they both require the same tear down.Man if you have both and can try both, it will be outstanding to hear your opinion of the installation and comments on both units.
Yours appears to have a textured surface around the shifter module, is that correct? Maybe just me, but in my dusty part of central TX I prefer smooth surfaces, easier to keep clean looking with a Swiffer wipe.If you're near Southeast Texas I can print you one in ASA (better than ABS/PETG) as extra insurance for that Texas Heat...
The tray is first class, both are. The etsy guy even has his name etched in! LOL!Yours appears to have a textured surface around the shifter module, is that correct? Maybe just me, but in my dusty part of central TX I prefer smooth surfaces, easier to keep clean looking with a Swiffer wipe.
I ordered the ABS item from Etsy last night. Still not committed to this mod, we'll see how the tray looks, definitely no rush, one step at a time ....
Yeaaaaaa noticed after I printed. Might give it another go with the part flipped on the bed. This looks great! Carbon doesn’t line up with the cubby cover though.
