Yours appears to have a textured surface around the shifter module, is that correct? Maybe just me, but in my dusty part of central TX I prefer smooth surfaces, easier to keep clean looking with a Swiffer wipe.

I ordered the ABS item from Etsy last night. Still not committed to this mod, we'll see how the tray looks, definitely no rush, one step at a time ....

What I like about this one is the "textured" part is a small print held by magnets. Swapped easily! Not sure if all versions have this, but yes - I actually have 4 others ready to see which I like more ...

Installed mine today from the Etsy guy. For some reason, mine is too tight lower right corner of the + button, it sticks. Will reach out to him. Need to get a rubber piece for inside the Covey.

Anyone gotten this error after swap?

2021 pb. Swapped to the expedition style shifter and got this error upon turning the truck off, error stays on display and this morning truck was completely dead, had to jump it off to get power to anything. Otherwise the shifter works like you’d expect. Drives and shifts into gears normally

If you open the driver's door with the knob in drive, does it automatically change to the "P"ark position?

it’s a used unit from eBay. It does shift to park if drive door is opened when in drive.

Looks like it’s JL1P-7P155-BF. 2018. Is that maybe the issue, needs to be 2021+?

My understanding is the shifter must be from a 2022 or later Expedition for compatibility with Gen 14 F150 systems through 2024 (a matter of CAN protocols?).

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong ......

got it. That must be the issue. This one is from 2018. Does do all the intended functions though. Shifts in and out normally and plus and minus buttons work also. Just gives that error and apparently drains the battery overnight.
Looks like I’ll be ordering the
NL1Z-7P155-B instead of J

I just did. He’s already sent me a new tracking number. I don’t mind trying to file this one down but I can’t pin point the issue that’s causing the rubbing and I wouldn’t want it to warp in this FL heat.

He lists it as PETG but I have no way of confirming or denying that claim.

Im still waiting on my printer and I want to print my own with some slight modifications if I can make them.

Mine for my 21 is from a 21 Expedition. After installation today and several drives, no issues. FYI
