I bought a new 2024 F150 XL an i drive from the dealer to my home at the first day and fog inside my 4 headlights appear (pictures). This disappears after one or 2 days. Each time i drive my truck this appear sometimes with frost at about 20 F and less and disappears when the truck don't moove for 1 or 2 days. Ford said it's normal. When the lights are frosted inside, they don't light up as much and I think if they breathe, the humidity will carry dirt inside my light. Your recommendations please.

Thank you! If i well understand what Ford said: the condensation disapear during driving time... In my case the condensation appear during driving time and disapear during the truck don't moove.

My 2023 (different headlamps) gets some on the very bottom sometimes. Maybe a couple inches from the bottom. It isn't nearly as all-over as your photos show. With that said, I bet Ford will say its normal.

I can deal with a little bit away from the primary headlamp beams. Yours I'd be more inclined to look into. Unless what I think is fogging is a reflection off the headlamp?

I will say Ford does / engineers a lot of things they consider "normal" relative to other vehicles I've owned. Noises and humming and clicking and I've not had any other car with lights that fog like this either.

Sorry, after checking i think it's possible we can see snow reflect inside the driver side head light...but upper this we can see the condensation i think (picture taken 1 month early). if i understood correctly what you said. It's not easy to take a picture without reflect... but for this day it's too late. I added the passenger side head light picture for this same day.

When you start it up to drive and it’s frosted, does it immediately clear up?

If not that’s unacceptable.
You should be able to get in truck start it and drive without reduced lighting. This is a safety issue and a liability on their part.

Make them put it in writing that this is normal and that their engineers designed their headlights to frost up.

If they don’t replace them at least you would have some recourse with a letter if something happened.
I would replace them with aftermarket like I did the faulty battery.

That's happen when i drive the truck, for me to it's a safety issue. Ford dealers said, you wash your truck regularly? Ford change the head lights if they have water droplets inside or drip marks

I had read manual from your link. May be Ford USA have a other way to treat this ..
On the top right side of my page 164 , Ford said (i translate) ''What is the condensation quantity acceptable'': ''A thin condensation cover less than 50% of glass.'' After 38 km last tuesday as those pictures. Do you think it's a safety issue? Ford Canada said it's normal. What do you to fix this issue?
