Has anyone else experienced this? One light is pointing above the headlight and the other is low. I’ve turned the adjusters on each and the height will move slightly but ultimately doesn’t adjust at all. I adjusted them up awhile back and had now issues. Maybe my adjustment screws are broken?!

Seems like I’m having a similar problem.

A few weeks ago I was in front of my wife in my truck and I thought the passenger fog light was out. Turns out the right is just much lower than the left.

I hit the wall on the right one because you can see it adjust up, turn some more and it falls back down. I thought okay I’ll just lower the left one, and nope. The adjustment screw just spins around and the housing doesn’t move at all. Anything I should try or just bring up at the next maintenance appointment? Still under 3/36 warranty and I also have extended warranty with LED coverage.

so I haven’t dug into my issue yet but I banged on the one that was pointing above the headlights and it fell back down to the same level of the other. I think I’m off the adjustment screws on both sides as I can’t get them to go lower. I plan to pull the bumper to access the entire light an see if I can’t pull them apart to fix.

Let me know what you find out and I’ll do the same!

Im not sure what to do. I tried to use a screwdriver to put back pressure on the adjustment screw but that didn’t seem to help. I’d love to have the whole assembly off to mess with it but I don’t feel like digging into all that yet.

Im just going to make a service appointment and go from there. If Ford can’t figure it out or warranty it then I’ll be back at it I guess.

Hello, I would like to take a look into your fog light concern on my end. Could you please send us a message with your VIN and mileage?

I ended up dropping off for Ford to look at. They said faulty fog light and are waiting on a replacement. I still have the factory warranty coverage.

Thanks for the update, I forgot to do the same! I got both to adjust back down by using a drill to turn the adjustment quickly while banging on the fog light cover. I think this combo allowed the adjustment screws to engage again.

I tried the same! I have an electric ratchet and tried that while hitting the light but no dice. I should be getting my truck back this week. Having an STX from a lariat has been an interesting change and my 9 year old doesn’t like it lol

So fun update I got today, they installed the new fog light and in trying to get them situated, they realized even the passenger side one adjuster was broken so now they have to replace that one. Thankfully I have a loaner otherwise I would be in a predicament.
