Flowmaster Flowfx for BAP Exhaust

I put the Flowmaster Flowfx on my 2023 5.0 BAP exhaust. I already had the resonator delete on my stock exhaust. It was louder than I expected and CD was annoying. So I put the resonator back in. It is exactly what I wanted. A little louder than stock but a nice deep tone. CD isn’t too bad. The muffler is straight through so it should be better than stock. I will try to up load some videos but they won’t be as good as in person. Here are videos with the resonator delete. I will get videos with the resonator installed this weekend. The first one is idle the second one is cold start.

Just put the Flowfx on my 24 about a month ago. Just the one into two muffler bolted directly to the dual factor exhaust, leaving the factory resonator intact. It’s spot on what I wanted, a little more 5.0 litre rumble, no obnoxious drone at highway speed. Great sound, no noise, puts a smile on my face.

The one you linked probably sounds a bit more reasonable than the one I posted. But coming from a straight piped truck, either will probably have a better overall tone.

I should add, my wife didn’t give me the evil eye, so an added benefit. Besides if I want loud I fire up the Mustang in track mode. With the suitcase resonator removed off the car, the sound is lively. I didn’t want quite that same sound level from the truck.

I would estimate just above half way between stock and the OP’s videos standing still. Shines while driving easily heard in the cab, more if you get into the throttle obviously. i haven’t heard any annoying drone on country road or highway speed. I listened as my wife left the house which jumps right into an 80 kph zone, I thought it sounded great and matched what I was looking for. Also noticed when driving at low load I think the pulse sound change easily heard is possibly cylinder de-activation. Might be way off and a figment of my imagination too.

if it doesn’t make you happy, cut out the resonator and should sound like above.

Sound is deeper than stock and also quieter than resonator delete with stock muffler at idle. With the resonator delete and Flowfx there is drone and not as deep as a sound. After I put the resonator back in the sound is better. You can hear it while driving. To me a little bit of drone on hills going up. Does sound great everywhere else nice deep tone. CD doesn’t sound horrible but I wish it wasn’t there.

This is idle with the resonator installed. I couldn’t upload cold start because it sad file was to large. I will do that tomorrow.

Same one I put on my Whipple 24 Lariat BAP, easiest no cut option with a great sound.
