I haven't been up to Epping in years. I'd love to go and see what this little 427, dual quad tunnel ram will do. It has a Muncie M21, ceramic clutch, light weight flywheel and 3:73 gears.
I can't see the fuel pump on your engine. Is that a 351 Windsor or Cleveland ? Looks very nice !

I'm sure that would be a blast to drive down the 1/4 mile.

That's a 390 FE run through a 4 spd Toploader and 9" with 3.50s. Fresh build with a tasty cam, but nothing too crazy. Was originally an automatic 289 car. I haven't run this there yet either. It's a convertible, so they'd give me shit if I went under 14 seconds with it...and it will, lol

WOW,.. that's an Awesome ride that you put together !
Tell the tech at the track it's a 16 second car. When you break the index, then you won't be able to go back. At least you'll know what it runs.

I thought about that. Or just backing off a bit to keep it reasonable for a few runs and then just wailing on it for the last one.

I had MBRP duals that exited at 45's. I liked the sound and I didn't think the drone was that bad until I switched it up to the Corsa Sport. Looking back, the drone was horrible in comparison. Now that I've experienced the Corsa with truly 0 drone I would never go back.

If the drone doesn't bother you, you will enjoy the sound it provides.
