Well, I picked up my truck today from Niello Collision center. After nearly 7 weeks, this saga is mostly coming to a close.
Unfortunately, many of the delays were attributed to conflict with my insurance company. They initially denied half of the repairs, claiming that the truck was already damaged. After many weeks of back-and-forth, and getting the California Department of insurance involved, my insurance company relented and sent out payment for the other half that they denied. Unfortunately this means that the truck was reassembled with some cosmetically damaged parts, but the paint is repaired at least and there is a new grille. Niello Collision center did a great job with the truck and were very patient throughout this whole ordeal.
The only issue I am having now is that upon reassembly, the window switches on the rear doors are not working. The windows roll up and down when using the switches on the driver door, but they do not respond to input on the doors themselves. All connections and wires appear to be good and seated properly. Power is coming to the door as the speakers work, lights, windows rolls up and down etc. The most perplexing part is that both rear window switches stopped working when only the driver side panel was disassembled. Child lock and window lock are both off. If anyone has any idea what could be the issue, your help would be immensely appreciated!
