Fender badge -- Different style?

These guys have 1 left in-stock, it's a BO'd part. Didn't even know these were a thing? Going to gloss black them and engrave a PowerBoost logo into it and maybe fill it with a paint color before clearing them....

I've got gloss black paint, I just ordered my paint code in a spray can. Still on the fence about metallic black (factory) or gloss black.

No, I don't plan to retain any un-painted plastic though (sans the bed rails / bumper) . I've got the tow mirrors here looking at them.....

But they haven't arrived yet. 2 days out

Somebody color matched a set. It was posted in the other fender vent thread. It looked really good.

There are pictures of painted ones floating around here. Warning, they are 3M tape on, I JB welded some nylon studs on mine so I wouldn’t have to worry about them exiting the chat randomly.

I’ve seen other paint matches ones, but they are def few and far between.

I have black painted ones and it looks awesome. It wasn't cheap. I would STRONGLY caution you to mount them farther back than you expect, rear edge almost even with the edge of the quarter panel. My first set, which I painted myself, had passenger badge blow off on I-20 because the front adhesive didn't stick because it was held too far away by the edge of the indent in the body panel.

I bought a used powerboost side logo to scan so I can create it in fusion and then use my laser to engrave it into it. Need to figure out an accent paint scheme for the various mods. triple black is too ubiquitous for black. Maybe black and red but I'd hate to be confused for a UGA fan.

Once I have the logo I can use it for all sorts of things from laser engraved dash badges to seat logos to vinyl stickers. I have lots of creative tools around the office

If it's in the budget I suggest a 50w MOPA w/ at least 2 lenses allowing up to 300mm working area.
