FDRS updating on 5/3 - 5/4 Quick Q:

Just a quick question. Currently doing FDRS software updates. Unfortunately no new APIM updates, still on an older version. 2021 XLT, I assume Job 1.

Currently doing an IPC (instrument panel [3 hours!])

I do see a BCM update. little gun shy on that one. Last time I did that it bricked one of my quad beam LED lights and screwed up some other stuff. Fortunately, Jessee was able to recover everything but the lights (Thanks xMillion!)

Currently, is there any reason not to do the BCM update listed?

Sorry, no screenshots. Using a laptop in the truck and desktop for the this.

@Jesse-Infotainment confirmed the bad BCM update has been pulled from FDRS.

Zoodad (From FTE Forums) and I did FDRS updates from 5/2-5/4. Took 2.5 days, I was on 21146, but had no issues with the BCM updates.

Same here - did my updates on my Job 1 truck a couple of weeks ago with no issues with bad modules (just one USB issue but was able to use the can-bus method to get around it). Update away!
