I had my 2021 F150 KR windshield replaced today by Safelite. I asked for and received OEM glass and it was successfully calibrated.

Thing is...

I had a rock chip caused windshield replaced last June by Safelite, and it had the Ford logo and the SOUNDSCREEN logo as well. My screen today also is supposedly OEM and has the Ford logo, but does NOT have the SOUNDSCREEN logo. Does anyone know if the Soundscreen tech is still on this windshield?

Most likely not because there is no "Soundscreen" label. You will likely have to go to your dealer to get the definitive answer if you are going to take this up as an issue with the installer.

Update on my bullseye rock chip. I went in to get it repaired and the technician advised there was a risk the windshield would crack when he injected the material to preform the repair. I decided to leave well enough alone. I've driven 10,000 miles without issue and it doesn't bother me. My windshield warranty will only cover 1/2 the cost of the replacement so I will wait until it does crack on its own or get another rock chip. This is likely to occur as I've had rocks hit my windshield (and cracks) three years in a row driving to Wyoming to hunt.

Went to apply Rain-X on my windshield for the first time. Guess I had not looked close enough at the bullseye from the outside. It was definitely a hole I could stick a dental tool pick into. I didn't want to leave that open so ran to the auto parts store and purchased the repair kit below. Unlike the experience I had with these type products 10 years ago, this one really worked. I followed the directions to a "T" and was amazed at how well it filled the outer portions of the bullseye. It was advertised to work on bullseyes up to an inch in diameter. Mine was bigger than that so there wasn't quite enough product to completely fill it. Still a nice improvement.
