F150 Tremor Bug/Hood Protector/Deflector Still Not Available?

I wasn't sure about the three piece design either, but it looks good. You just need to be careful to align it properly before pressing the adhesive into place. I used painters tape to get it positioned before removing the backing. It can be purchased directly from their website. Customer service has been great. They sent me pictures of the template applied to a truck at a local dealership to see if I approve of the design.

Definitely something to consider. I'd like to see what AVS has to offer.....but it seems they have blown their 2nd quarter promise.

I found a company named DesignerTrim that was willing to make a hood protector for the Tremor/BAP hood. I received the first one made and it fits very well. Its a three-piece protector that is attached with adhesive tape. They are able to make it in any color. I just went with gloss black. The protector may not provide as much coverage as the AVS or Weathertech do, but at least they were willing to take on the project. The cost is a bit higher at around $200, but it was cheaper than having the dents and chips fixed. Production and shipping only took a few days. Part number is #FOF121DE1. Make sure to specify that you have a Tremor in the notes.

Did you ever get this installed? I just came back to this thread thinking. Its almost 2025 and still no hood protector from any of these bigger companies. Really disappointed in these bigger companies, but so happy there is finally something specific for the tremor hood. Curious of anyone else has tried this as well. May pull the trigger on one soon.

I'm in Brazil right now for a few weeks but dropped my truck off at the dealership to get some stuff done including installing the deflector.

So I won't see it till I get back home in mid November.

I got back from Brazil to discover that the imperfection in my hood was not the 3m film but the paint. So now they are either going to replace my hood or repaint it.

I'm currently working about 50 days straight so won't be able to get it done until March. Then the deflector will go on.

I just received a notification from WeatherTech that they now have a hood/bug deflector shield available for what they are calling the "unique" F150 hood, which looks to be for the 2022 - 2025 Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum. Price is $79.95. Here is the link:

They posted a video of the installation on a non-Tremor hood. It is installed entirely with 3M strips, so it is very low profile. Wish they had a video of a completed install on a Tremor hood...

Good deal. I would be very interested in your feedback. Post some photos if you get a chance. I am not a huge fan of the 3M tape installation, but it looks like our options are going to be extremely limited at this point.
