2WD gets better mileage and rIdes smoother. Adding the electronic locking differential makes getting a boat up a slippery launch a breeze. This is my forth Ecoboost, lots power and pulling capabilities.

What is the difference between 2WD and a 4WD in 2H mode that makes the ride smoother? Not trying to be argumentative, I just don't know the difference.

The suspension is heaver on the 4WD Truck.

Not to mention you save quite a good chunk of weight and $$. A transfer case and front differential/half shafts are heavy.
