What has been anyone's longest wait for a F150 after they placed an order with a dealer? I placed an order with Granger Ford on 6 November 2023, and as of this post I do not have a build date or anything. It may be due to the trim level. I ordered an F150 Platinum Supercrew 4X4, hybrid engine, Rapid Red, 702A, FX4, spray in bedliner and retractable tonneau. Maybe I should have not ordered the bedliner and tonneau. I guess five months isn't that bad.
I ordered, F150 Lariat S-Crew 4X4, FX4, powerboost engine, Antimatter Blue Metallic, 502A, FX4, spray in bedliner, on 9/25/23 and got a scheduled build date of 4/15.

Since you placed your order five weeks before me, it is possible I can get a build date in the mid to end of May. There is hope.

@wessermgm ordered in early October I think. He’s the longest I’ve seen for ‘24.
I think there are a few older than mine. Mine is a 10/13/23 order. What frustrates me is there is no reason as to why mine (and others) haven't scheduled. I am told a different line every week as to why my order didn't schedule while I watch multiple trucks with the same option that supposedly held mine up schedule the same week. Almost all of them are more recent orders than mine (sometimes orders that are less than two weeks old).

I have become convinced that some orders just have problems in the system (some coding issue) that just don't get picked up. It reads clean and looks fine, but it won't ever schedule. Problem is that no one at Ford will ever bother to check on that or try to ascertain why these "lost souls" can never enter Heaven. They just take the intellectually lazy route of looking at your build sheet and picking a "constraint" and saying "that must be the issue, it'll schedule soon." Soon never comes. They never ask the question why the exact same build from months later gets scheduled. It is a massive fail for this system that Ford hopes becomes THE way people buy cars/trucks in the future.

How do I know it is a system flaw? Because some people on this site have posted that they just ordered the same truck again and the second time it gets scheduled - months after the initial order and the "constraints" didn't stop the second.

I would just do this myself save for two issues: 1) I had a PCO at the time of the order that was time limited, I would lose the value after all this time; 2) I have a Granger order, which carries the non-refundable $1,000 deposit. Thus, I can't just try again, I would lose $3,000, which I am not inclined to do. More likely, if it does not schedule by the end of the month, I will likely abandon my efforts to get this truck and either double down on my current truck (and engage in some mods I was considering) or I will look at alternative trucks. I have always considered myself a lifetime Ford guy, but it's pretty hard to keep feeling that way when they literally don't want to build you a truck.

I order a Lariat on 1/23/24, It was built on 4/22. No ship date and I have no sticker yet, not sure why.
In any case I ordered a spray in bed and wheel liner . I read they do that do that in mod shop and at outside facility. Does built status include these additions or is this another step before shipping.

Just trying to get a handle on what has to happen before my truck is ready for shipment

Tired of driving a rental as my truck was totaled . I just want my truck

Thanks for any details on next steps

It is Thursday and 171 days since I placed my order for my 2024 F150 Platinum Power Boost, Rapid Red Metallic Clear Coat, 702A package, FX4 Package, Paint Protection Film, Retractable Tonneau cover, Wheel Well Liners, Spray in Bedliner, Illuminated Ford Logo Badge, Window Air Deflectors, Front an rear molded splash guards and PAT. Another disappointed week without a build notification. It must be the molded splash guards that Ford can't get that is holding up my build.

My build start moved up to the 25th. Where did you get the delivery ETA from?

Wow, that's crazy fast. If mine turns out to be the same week, I will be on vacation, so it would be back to work for a few days and on to Iowa for another mini vacation to pick up the truck. Glad I compared insurance rates today. I got 4 different online quotes for identical coverage that ranged in price from from $1200 to $2700 a year for both the F-150 (Full coverage) and my current 2008 Honda Accord (Minus collision and comprehensive coverage). It looks as if I am moving everything to Progressive because it is the cheapest by far. I will also be moving my motorcycle to Progressive because I can get the same rate as my current coverage plus an additional $10,000 for the trailer I will be getting.

I do plan on using Granger for the extended warranty

What ballpark price did you get if you don’t mind disclosing? I’ve been debating an order, been seeing some 24 platinums show up around me in the low $70s.
