Ordered last week.
157 wb, 4x4, 502A carbonized gray, black int, chrome, 3.5eco, Max tow, power boards, power tail gate, spray in liner, wheel well liners.
Trading in 2018 blue jeans lariat,

My dad ordered a week before me:
157 wb, 4x4, 502A, smoked quartz two tone, medium slate int, 3.5 eco, max tow, power boards, power tailgate, spray in liner, wheel well liners, under seat storage.

Trading in 2019 platinum in magnetic.

Ordered from 2 different dealers. Believe it or not couldn’t get a deal ordering 2 and we each got a better deal at seperate dealers. We’re talking a few thousand difference between the dealers as well.

Thanks for clearing that up. So I compared differences between 501AStd and 502A High on the Ford.ca website builder and they are line for line identical. Only difference is on the 50A High graphic which states these three upgrades:

Are these the only 3 upgrades you get for the additional $4245? What are the differences in Tail lamps between the two packages, if any?

When I saw "Chrome Appearance Pkg, I automatically defaulted to the 501A because I am not a fan of chrome. I am assuming now that I could have went with the 502A and added Sport pkg and got the projectors. Even then it seems pricey for just a headlamp and wiper upgrade.

If I had to guess you can likely pick up the OEM LED Projector Headlamps and upgrade them yourself for a whole lot cheaper. I'm with you on this one... certainly not worth the price tag. I have rain sensing wipers on my Audi and never use them because they typically crank it up far more than what's needed.

502a has a lot more additional equipment than those 3 items listed. Off the top of my head, heated steering wheel, rear heated seats and co pilot assist 2.0 are standard on 502a.

Oh and chrome appearance or sport is at no extra cost with 502a. 501a you'll have to pay for either.

I think it also allows you to upgrade certain things that you can't with the 501a, like the B&O Unleashed sound system, but here's what I saw on Ford's site...

It looks like Canada doesn't have the 500 standard package and starts at the 501a. I'd like to see the 502a tail lights and compare them to mine. Mine appear to be LED but I don't know if they were attached to a package that I got or just a well designed halogen. Yours will def. have the LED reflectors though if you got the 501a. And don't worry...they're pretty good. One of the other forums said if you get the copilot assist 2.0 + max tow or 360⁰ cameras you get the led tail lamps per Ford purchase guide.

You’ve got the LED tail lamps. They’re standard on 502A and higher, but are also included on the 501A (and allegedly on 302A) like you noted with the added packages.

The best place to look at features - standard and optional for all trims is the order guide. Ford's build and price tool isn't always very accurate.

This answers my questions, thank you. In a little bit of panic mode now as I was really looking forward to the projectors, heated wheel and heated rear seat options. Built on 15-JAN with no VIN yet, hoping its possible to modify my order.

I'm a bit speechless to see a window sticker populated tonight! The Ford website tracker doesn't show anything beyond "In Order Processing" but the forum tracker here has a window sticker with a build date of 2/8!


I placed my order on 1/19, am not sure of the priority code, but must assume the fairly basic truck options helped in a speedy acceptance. My dealer's Sales Manager said the delivery ETA was 2/22 which I was highly skeptical of.. perhaps he isn't wrong after all.

Same here. Happy to see everyone making progress towards delivery, but every time I see an order that was made after mine move forward it stings a tiny bit . ?

I ordered at the beginning of December and don't have a VIN yet. Pretty sure there's something going on with my dealer's allocations at this point, but I asked several times around the time of my order and they said allocations were good and everything would be moving along smoothly... now I get a lot of "nope, not this week, probably next week".

Can someone confirm who ordered a lariat 501A and didn’t specifically upgrade to the built in connected navigation. Is there navigation regardless? I’ve watched a video with a 501A and the sticker is like mine, doesn’t say that they ordered navigation but it’s on the screen in the video. In short, does everyone get navigation if you have the 12” infotainment screen?
