Anyone else notice an increase in exhaust drone as their 2.7 got broke in and closer to 10k miles? Mine is definitely louder than when it was new and starting to annoy me since the trans is constantly shifting into a higher gear and often lugging the engine at less than 1500 rpm where you not only hear it but feel it. There is no good reason to lug the engine down to 1200 but it is often in the 1200-1500 range. If I run in sport mode, no problem since it is usually over 2000 rpm but in normal mode, it is pretty annoying.

I'm at 65K on my 2023 2.7. Never noticed a drone at any speed. This is by far the quietest truck engine I've had.

I am with the above poster. My 2022 2.7 is very quiet and I have never experienced anything that I would consider drone.
