Has anyone from Ford phoned you, emailed you and told you these are the issues they are facing? or is this some kind of speculation based on No facts at all? Nobody from Ford has said that this is a major problem to me or my dealer. I prefer to operate on proper information rather than the lunch room chit chat from people that like to talk but have no proof to back up what they say “banter”
Having worked for an auto-supplier previously, I can tell you that they will do whatever they can do to please the supplier unless they no longer want the business. Also, I have dealt with shipping/transportation of freight in the past, and shipping companies do not like to send "empty" loads unless they have to, even if it is short distances.

And unless you have been living under a rock the past 15 months, you should know that the transportation industry has been an issue. Shipping containers are in short supply compared to pre-COVID times, as are trucks, drivers, and rail transport. I'm not sure why you need someone from Ford to call you and tell you the world is a shit-show right now in terms of nearly anything, it has been obvious to most people since last spring.

Well peeps this Bad Ass truck is in Transit…the tracker says it will deliver on July 27 so we will see. My tonneau cover is waiting since early May and ready to be installed, appointment for ceramic coating is booked. Ford I am ready to have my new truck don’t let me down again! On July 27 it will be just over 6 months as I ordered my truck on Jan 21 and my dealer Took in my trade an’18 Ram Longhorn edition which is equal to the king ranch. So c’mon Ford let’s get this right!

So, let me get this straight.... Your truck is in transit to Ontario. You may/may not be able to track it via the rail car number. It's ETA is July 27 (next week) and the tracker says it has been pushed to two weeks out to Aug 10.

Join the club. Suggest you hop on down to your local dispensary and pick up another six pack of patience. I understand you are upset, but no one here can really help your plight.

We can agree to disagree, i don’t have an issue with you it’s the lack of communication from Ford head office, I asked my dealer last January is this going to be an issue and they responded oh no order a truck and it will be 10-12 weeks max. As time has passed there are thousands of people waiting 6 months for a truck. It seems Ford has sent out a letter of apology to some( not me ) that’s not acceptable. i guess it’s safe to say my question to you was did you get any type notice email ,letter or phone call from Ford. I already know the answer.

Not looking for help….just venting at Ford the way they handled this situation. I think the time for patience is Short as everyone has given 6 months that’s enough!

Does Ford not know how long it takes to deliver a truck from the factory to the dealer? The ETA date Changes more than some people change their underwear. Really Ford can you guys not get your shit together enough to know when my truck will get to the dealer? 4 times the date has changed in 2 weeks and it has gone in one direction….LATER not sooner. This is just another time that Ford hasn’t had any communication with the end buyer, this is a lack of respect to stick your head in the sand again.Unreal f$&*#$g real.
That very thing caused me to cancel my order and buy a Chevy. After 6 delays/ETA changes, I got fed up with it.
