I would just like to take the time to post up that beyond all the issues many have experienced with the 14th gen F150, that in my opinion it is an amazing vehicle! To the Ford online support team I would like to give a shout out for combing thru the issues posted on here daily and reaching out to help. There is no perfect product but the pursuit to hone the F150 platform to where it is now is awesome. If you feel the same way I am sure it would be welcomed to let the support team know how much you appreciate there help.
Yeah that group is worthless. Every time they post a week later the person says still haven't heard from them.

If they were worth anything they would take a thread like the Transmission Shudder that is 15 pages, over 33,000 views and send it to Ford engineers. Instead they copy/paste their canned post and have not helped a single person, me included.

As a retired maintenance electrician in a large manufacturing plant full of old and new technology. I just wanted to throw this out there. It has been running around in the back of my mind for a while. This not directed at anyone or any thing. Just my thoughts. I am not knocking anyone who is having problems with there trucks. I share their pain and frustration. With the help of many of the members on this and other forms, there is a lot of great information and support.

I just googled how many 2021 F 150's were sold in Canada and the US... Somewhere around 850,000 units. That being said, and I know it might rub the guys that are having problems, but with the chip shortage and the percentage of units with systems not working as they should is IMO not that high. Someone who has a truck that is not giving the owner any problems or if it does, are very minor and easily repaired, are not going to say anything on here or any other form. Also, the software and firmware issues in these trucks is something that we have not experienced before. No different when new technology comes out and IT teams have to figure out what must be changed to correct a problem and then update all the devices. I worked with high tec equipment for over 30 years and there was always updates required to correct problems. Even systems that were over 20 years old needed updates. The mechanics, were I worked were called wrench pullers, are having to put down their wrenches and air tools and pickup a computer and try and figure out what it all means or requires. And from experience, just because I am told it is "THIS' part that has failed, over time, I have discovered that that is wrong and I should be changing a different part. The key thing here is it takes time for the mechanics to gain that knowledge and understanding what is the way a system should and does work.

Example: Trailer light check on my 2021 F150 XLT. Turns the tail lights on the truck but not the trailer. Thought it was an issue. Had the truck into the dealer a couple of times until it was explained that I had to turn on the park lights to check the running lights on the trailer. Turn signal, brake lights and back up lights checked worked great.
You make a great point. It's well taken and I completely agree.

HOWEVER…

Ford Motor Company’s complete and painfully obvious indifference to Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction as evidenced by their clear Corporate Policy of going out of their way to never contact the Dealers OR the Customers they leave twisting in the wind is completely inexcusable.

My new F150 is BY FAR the most amazing machine I’ve ever owned but “I” WILL NEVER purchase another product of Ford Motor Company again and I have NO DOUBT that they really couldn’t give a flyingfcuk!

And why should they?

They have the #1 best selling pickup truck in America!

…for now.
