I have a 2022 F150 SuperCrew XLT 302A 4x4 5.0L 3.31 with a 6.5 ft bed (box), Ford wheel well liners, mud flaps, and a Leer 100 Truck Cap.
I am trying to dust proof the bed and i recently installed the Ford Tailgate Seal.
I noticed several other holes in the bed that will let in dust.
  1. What are the holes for circled in blue in the attached picture?
  2. Do i need access to them for future maintenance, etc.?
  3. Does Ford sell a dustproof plug for the holes? If so, what is the name and part number?
  4. How would you suggest that i dustproof the holes?

Not entirely sure what those really are for, but my first thought would be to use gaffer's tape to seal them up. :D

I use that stuff quite a bit for various things - it holds up surprisingly well.

The 3 holes on my truck were for a bed extender. I bought a ford one it bolted right up.

  1. Anyone know if i can get any of the HP1 to HP9 plugs in the picture below from Ford Parts.
  2. Is HP# the part number?
I cant find the plugs when doing a search on the Ford parts website and for some reason Ford doesn't use interactive hot linked parts diagrams.

3. Anyone know where i can find a F150 interactive hot linked parts diagrams?

Fleet Farm has a bunch of hole plugs of various sizes. You could measure the ID of the holes in the bed, grab a matching plug, and toss a bit of caulk on the back of the plug to seal them up (paint them if you are ambitious). Beyond the metal ones shown in the below search, my local Fleet Farm has a couple of drawers of various-sized plastic plugs for less than a buck a pop.

Thanks. I measured (with tape, not calipers) the holes to be ~5/8" and 3/4".
The sheet metal is bent into the hole a bit which causes some extra thickness for the plug to seat. If I cant get the ones from Ford, I will order some and give them a try.
