Driving my 2022 King Ranch at dusk yesterday. Several oncoming cars failed to turn on their headlights, so as a courtesy, I turned my headlights off and on twice to remind them. As my focus was on traffic and not the dash, my wife noticed a message pop up stating “Press OK to auto flash your headlights at vehicles without headlights on” (this is a very loose interpretation of what the message said). I have yet to find anything about this online or in the manual. Has anyone else seen this feature?

I'd like a feature where an insanely powerful spotlight automatically shines on people who refuse to turn their high beams off.

Anyone figure out how to turn this on or what trims it's available on?

Could be as the wife was seeing it from an angle. It would be a great feature and the tech is already in place. Auto high beams already sense oncoming traffic, why not sense vehicles at dusk/dawn that are driving without lights and give a flash?

As strange as it sounds I witnessed an accident where the driver at fault ran a redlight when a pop-up came up on his screen telling him to keep his eyes on the road. He glanced over at the screen to see what had popped up and bam!

I feel like that driver would have had to have their eyes off the road for several seconds to make that mistake. Either driving up on a red, or driving up on a light with the time it takes for a light to go from green to yellow to red to the opposing green...

It was kind of a weird situation. The traffic light is actually 150 feet beyond the overpass that he was going under and you actually have to look upwards approaching the overpass to see a flashing yellow light mounted on the overpass with a sign saying signal ahead. This is a very poor egineered highway crossing by the Department Of Transportation..If you're running 65 mph and approach this intersection, you have less than 200 feet to look up and read the sign ,then look upwards again to see the stoplight. Very dangerous intersection to be designed like that with heavy traffic to and from Myrtle Beach S.C.. They average 3 accident weekly there during Summer months.
