DRL LED Bar brightness boosted using Forscan

Happy to report that the code of course worked and it is not going to auto by default and stays on off as my last option.
I did my DDL on the brightest 100% and honestly, they are bright, but are they too bright to blind the oncoming traffic or car in front of you? I really doubt that

DRL at 100% may be bright for some people but then again other vehicles have the same brightness but at the end of the day, it’s your truck! Mines been at 100% brightness since this mod on the XLT and then a year later on the Lariat, no issues at all!

So no complaints where I am, if anything I keep getting asked to do the same to their trucks too—I even get followed to my destination to get asked where they can go to boost their DRL bar ?

First of all a big shout out to you, Nightshade, Livintiup, and whoever else is involved in cracking codes for us. The LED bar looks 100% better and brighter than the stock setup. love it!
The only thing I wanted to say is that after reading many comments i was expecting to be blinded by how bright it is. Maybe i missed something? i used first option with BCM: 726-42-01 -> x2x2 - xxxx - xxxx
and change x3x3 to x2x2. And results were MUCH noticeable. I put them in option 2 (park ligts) and driving and then turn them off when i get home.
did i miss something? I noticed my rear LEDS parking lights are on too.
DDLED Is bright. I mean is bright and 100% better than it was but not enough to blind incoming traffic

I am trying to revert back to normal as at night it is frankly too bright and distracting on other drivers. I like how bright they are during the day, but miss the fact they dim at night. What needs to be changed to revert back to stock? My understanding is that if I just change the % to 10%, I would still be missing the dimming feature and they would only be on 10% during the day as well? Thanks in advance for the assistance.

If you made a backup as instructed before you wrote the changes, just restore backup and it'll go back to normal. If not and Ford didnt update the servers yet, you can try the "Restore" button in FORScan and see if it brings back your original values.

Another option would be to use this website (https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Home/SetCountry?returnUrl=/AsBuilt), enter your VIN and download the AsBuilt directly.

Anyone looking for DRL LED Bar to go from dim to full bright, this is the only FORScan mod you have to do. Works perfectly in all modes, including Bambi mode and marker mode. Stays bright all the time! Huge thanks to @Hectort713 and I. Confirmed working in 2021 F-150 XLT, Lariat and Tremor. Other trims, comment below if working. As always, make a backup before doing this.

**For those with flickering LED bar: (headlight or fog light); big thanks to @ROBB1 for this.

This is the alternative way of making your LED bar brighter. So far, there are reports that after doing the modification above in FORScan, some experienced issues with the LED bar flickering, either the one part of the headlight or the fog light. To fix this and achieve the almost same result, the below steps and FORScan change needs to be done:

1. Revert/restore your changes in FORScan that you did for the above change via backup that you made to restore back to factory as-built values for line - BCM: 726-42-01 -> x2x2 xxxx xx--. Make sure to write and cycle your truck on/off.

2. Go into BCM as-built once again and create a backup once more, to be safe.

3. Change the following as-built with the following values. The preferred value that has been tested as of May 2022, is 4B (75%). Change only the "**" area, and leave the rest of the values in the line the way they are as default.

726-38-01 xxxx **xx xx--

64 =100%
5A = 90%
4B =75%
32 = 50%
19 = 25%
0A =10%

3. Write to the truck and cycle the truck on/off, a few seconds apart. Enjoy!

Just restore it back but don’t write it yet, find that like that has the previous value after you restore it then stop the session, do it again and just change the value for that line only of the values you wrote down. Write and you’re done.

Hi, so my DRL's still dim when I turn the headlights on. All I did was change the 726-42-01 line. Am I missing something? Also, if changing the brightness % line, does the original line have to be reverted back to stock first? Canadian truck fyi.

Mine is a Canadian truck as well. What year is your truck?

Did you make sure to only change the numbers and leave the “x” and dashes alone?

Hi, I noticed that the lower lights - the one with the fog lights do not get as bright as the upper ones.
I also tried all the Values. the brightness is the same for all, once you change from 0A, they are all the same. am I doing anything wrong?

Has anyone figured out how to turn off the amber light between the high and low beams on DLR? I know the park lights can be included during DLR operation.
